We are looking for a Senior Experience Designer who will lead the design of a world class Curation Platform for Victoria government that covers everything from startup onboarding, founder journey, startup success pathways and more. This is a unique opportunity to work on a complex multidimensional challenge where the things you design will have a sustained positive impact on founders, startups, and the state of Victoria.

This role is being offered on an initial 4 month contract, with the potential of extension for the right team member.

You will;

• Use design thinking approaches to design the strategic building blocks of a world class Curation Platform that includes the startup experience and maximising startup success
• Collaborate with the startup ecosystem to understand the needs and problems faced by founders and startups on their journey to start, build and scale enduring companies
• Conduct research on global standards and best practice that help shape the design of the Curation Platform
• Embrace a multidimensional challenge and find new and innovative paths through it
• Test solutions with customers and iterate quickly towards designs we can – and should – build

• Strong visual communicator, adept at conveying complex ideas with simplicity and clarity

• Expertise in;

• Successfully delivered end-to-end experience design
• Well-informed points of view, while also remaining open to adjustments based on input from others
• Deliver passionate and impactful presentations
• 4+ years working as an Experience Designer, or Visual Designer, or Interaction designer (or similar role)
• Lived experience of designing and delivering high quality experiences especially in the customer success space will be highly regarded.
